Syringe Exchange Eliminates Carelessly Disposed Needles

Hepatitis A, B & C and other blood-borne viruses

The Vermont Harm Reduction Coalition is operating a syringe exchange program at their Brattleboro Offices .  We provide HIV and Hepatitis Information as well as HIV counseling and testing and Hepatitis C counseling and testing. Also, prevention strategies, peer counseling, health and drug treatment referrals along with syringe exchange.  

 The syringe exchange is a strictly anonymous system.  You do not need to reveal your name or address.  You are safe and protected here.  At your first visit, you will be issued a card which allows you to legally possess syringes.  The syringe exchange legislation which allows you to carry syringes (used or unused) is printed on the back of your participant card.
